Ronald M. Marcquenski, 77 years old of Trevor, WI passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Froedtert South – St. Catherine’s Medical Center, Pleasant Prairie, WI. He was born July 10, 1940 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Edward J. and Mary J. (nee Bausch) Marcquenski, and on October 15, 1962 he married Gail Gathmann. Ron owned and operated several businesses including Standard Oil (as the youngest station owner), and since 1972, he started National Pride Car Washes in Wisconsin as well as the National Pride Auto Center in Kenosha, WI. He was a member of the Chicago Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corp (now Rosemont Cavaliers) and was part of the 3 M’s, earning a National Championship. He and Gail have been parishioners of St. Peter Church, Antioch, IL for many years. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Gail; two children, Bruce (Laurie) Marcquenski of Trevor, WI and Pam (Ronald) Bock of Trevor, WI; a brother, Edward (the late Phyllis) Marcquenski of Frankfort, IL and foster sister-in-law, Kathy Gilmer; four grandchildren, Abigail Marcquenski, John Marcquenski, Nic (Kayla) Purtee, and Danielle Bock; and five great-grandchildren, James, Everett, Lita, Grayson and Lydia. In addition to his parents and sister-in-law, Ron was preceded in death by his foster brother, Dale Gilmer. Visitation will be from 11AM-2PM Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Rte.83). Funeral services will commence at 2PM Wednesday.
