Paul F. Snyder, 61, of Portage, IN (formerly of Syracuse, IN) passed away at 11:10 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 9, 1957 in Fort Wayne, IN to Maurice R. & Donna L. (Rockwell) Snyder.
He grew up in the Syracuse area, graduated in 1976 from Wawasee High School and moved to Portage 19 years ago. He was formerly employed at Smokercraft in New Paris & Supreme Corporation in Goshen.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles both in Syracuse.
He is survived by:

2 Sons – James Snyder of Syracuse & Jared Snyder of Portage
5 Grandchildren
2 Sisters – Lorree Corbat of Syracuse & Laura Keller of Fort Wayne
2 Brothers – David (Pauline) Snyder of LaPorte & Daniel (Beth) Snyder of Indianapolis
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister – Neva O’Connor, and brother – Jim Snyder.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 12889 N Kern Rd, Syracuse, IN. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. is in charge of local arrangements.
