If anyone on this earth was a singular talent, it was Davey – played marimba in the front ensemble and percussion ensemble, studied clarinet as his primary instrument, marched trumpet for Spirit of Atlanta, The Cavaliers and The Blue Devils, then transferred to Berklee to earn his degree in composition. He was well on his way to establishing a career in film scoring when his life was tragically cut short yesterday.
Aside from his many musical gifts, he was an absolute joy to be around. He would undoubtedly be the light in any room he was in, and we were all lucky to cross paths with him. He and Jessica were best of friends, and visited very recently…all that know him are in our thoughts today.
