The amazing “resurgence” of the corps in 1974 from not making Finals in 1973 to overcoming massive odds and taking 8th place in 1974.

Why?

Started in a small Milwaukee corps in 1962.  My first drum instructor was a future Cavalier.  Later moved to Chicago and I wanted to be with a respected organization that had lots of swagger and pride.  Cavaliers changed/saved my life forever!
Favorite Cavalier Show/Year?

1976 – The drum line, especially the snares, were the pinnacle of old-school rudimental drumming.
