Today we lost a great guy, a great friend, and someone who considered The Cavaliers his home. Felton Harlan passed away while doing what he loved: teaching his kids. I do not know all of the details, but am told he suffered a heart attack while at practice.
I had the wonderful experience to teach him in both The Cavaliers (93-95?) and Escapade winter guard. He knew exactly how to make me laugh. At any given moment. And he gave the strongest rib cracking hugs I have ever received. I didn’t see him much in the last few years but when I did he always greeted me with that signature hug. Much love to Felton. He was beloved, and will be missed.
