• February 12th 2024 | The Orpheus Parade.

  Both of these are evening parades.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

• Thursday, Feb 8 | Ensure you are in New Orleans for an afternoon rehearsal.

• Friday, Feb 9 | Rehearse (with plenty of snack & beer breaks.)

• Saturday, Feb 10 | Endymion parade Saturday evening.

• Sunday, Feb 11 | FREE DAY! (Corps rules do NOT apply, but local laws are still in effect.)

• Monday, Feb 12 | Rehearse Monday morning, then Orpheus parade on Monday evening.

ACCOMMODATIONS PDF

You are responsible for black, flat-front pants, black long sleev mock neck shirt, and black marching shoes and socks.  See the examples in the 11/15/23 meeting slides and the Uniform FAQs below.

We will be using the Corps equipment, similar to what we did in Mardi Gras ’22.

The Cavalier Alumni Association is organizing MG24.  The committee is:  Dan Brunk, Kevin Sender, Scott McCoy, Mike Green, David Littlefield, Scott Maack, John Taylor, Luke Daniels

• This is only open to Cavaliers alumni. Current marching members will not be eligible to participate (we will invite the 2023 age outs to participate though)

• We do want to make this a “family” affair, so please feel free to bring along your spouse, partner, or significant other.
